What comes across

SAM's export gives you your customers, vehicles, suppliers and stock as spreadsheets. Some things it does not export at all.

Open jobs	Finish in SAM	The simplest way is to finish what is in the workshop in SAM and start new jobs in PISTON.
Money owed to you	Collect in SAM and Xero	Chase what is outstanding where it was invoiced. Nobody migrates balances.
Service history and past invoices	Coming	SAM's export leaves these out. We are building a way to bring them across from a SAM backup.

Desktop SAM needs a re-activation code from time to time, and Auxo can withhold it. Take your export first.

Rental and hosting have a six-month minimum and then 90 days' notice. Support is 30 days, and webSAM is 7.

If SAM hosts your data, you can ask for a copy for a month after you leave. Auxo may charge for it, and the format is not guaranteed.

Desktop SAM keeps its data in SQL Server, and hosted customers get a Backups folder. Keep a copy: it has everything, history included.
